Orchha, Madhya Pradesh

Orchha is located half an hour away from Jhansi. Jahangir Palace is the main palace here. At the entrance of this, two bowed elephants are made. The nearest airport to Munnar is the Cochin International Airport. Main railway junction is Ernakulam. National Highway 49 connects Kogi and Munnar. Here cheaper and good food is available. Jim Corbett was a great hunter. His full name was James Edward Corbett. They saved the lives of the people by killing the man-eating lions of Kumaon. In the name of people, only people know it by name as Jim Carbet.

In 1957 the Government of India named this park as Jim Corbett National Park. Today’s Jim Corbett Park is very good. There are 200 tourist accommodation arrangements in this. Houses, cabins, and tents are available here. It is 12 km from Ramnagar railway station. Every kind of carriage is available from the Ramnagar railway station to the park. There is a parking arrangement by the Gypsy park. While roaming, the glass windows are kept closed, because the fear of attack of wild animals remains. Nature Walk is organized between 6 am to 4 pm.
